Welcome to davidjakes.me.  In this space, I hope to connect you to all of my digital content from one location.  The purpose and direction of what I do online is constantly evolving as new ideas and people influence my thinking.  It is my intent to share that thinking, reflected in my thoughts on education, schools and change, in the variety of spaces that I’ve created.  From here, you can access my traditional Web site, Jakesonline.org, with useful archived content on digital storytelling and inquiry-based learning, among other topics.  I have two blog sites, The Strength of Weak Ties, and davidjakes.com, where I write my series of Words Matter posts.  My presentation site, David Jakes Presentations, houses my presentation content and resources, and reflects the work I have done presenting around the world since 1995.  I hope that you benefit from my work and what I share.  Thank you for visiting.

  1. David,
Do you consult with architects for innovative K-12 new building projects?
We have an RFP for a new selective enrollment High Schools in Chicago (Obama High). We would like to partner to bolster our podagogy expertise for this opportunity.
Would this be of interest to you?
    All the best,
